Bulgargaz has submitted a request to the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission (EWRC) for natural gas to rise by 3.5%. The EWRC has already announced that such an increase will not require a change in the price of heating, hot water and electricity. The EWRC is expected to examine and approve Bulgargaz’s proposal by the end of this month.
“In this case the price of heating and electricity will not be changed from January 1st”, said Ivan Ivanov. In July, the EWRC approved a price increase of 10.81% to 400.95 levs / 1000 cubic meters or 37.79 levs / MWh (excluding excise duty and VAT).
