“People want security, high income, want to see development, we do it right now. The slogans are not needed, but factories, investments, industrialization”, Prime Minister Boyko Borissov told journalists in Munich after meeting with the Prime Minister of the Free State of Bavaria Markus Soder. Prime Minister Borissov pointed out that many German factories were made in Bulgaria, especially in the car industry, which expanded their production.
The Bulgarian Prime Minister noted that active contacts are taking place between the Bulgarian and Bavarian businesses so that the economics can be fully united. “They like us, they know that we are a stable and disciplined country, we are a family in every sphere”, added Borissov and emphasized the good cooperation with many other federal provinces.
Asked to comment on today’s statement by British Prime Minister Teresa May, Borissov expressed hope that the terrible predictions would not come true, that instead of adopted position for Brexit, someone else will come and ask for new conversations. Prime Minister Borissov also congratulated Frans Timmermans on the results of the vote in the Netherlands and stressed his good friendship with him.
