“About 1 billion levs are allocated for educational infrastructure in Bulgaria”, Prime Minister Boyko Borissov said during the opening of the modernization of the training grounds of the National Sports Academy “Vasil Levski” (NSA).
The total financing of the site is 3 755 636 levs, with national funding amounting to 525 000 levs. The modernization of the base of the academy includes renovation of the old building and construction of a new sports hall.
“Having a university in the city center is very convenient. We did not allow the bases, which cost tens of millions levs, to be stolen and gave the sports academy to operate them”, the Prime Minister added.
New facilities and equipment for the training halls and study rooms, the conference room, the library, the reading room, as well as the fitness room and changing rooms are provided at the National Sports Academy training facility. Updating the NSA material base and improving the learning process will facilitate the introduction of new training methods for young people.
Improved conditions and modern training and sports halls and classrooms will stimulate students’ motivation for better activity in mastering their knowledge and subsequent realization of their work.
“I am convinced that we will have a field in the European Commission that we will like, will be modern and worthy, and with at least three times bigger funding than the current one”, Prime Minister Borissov.
